Forget the countless tabloid cover stories and rampant rumor mill, this time it's legitimate:
Jennifer Aniston is engaged!!!
The actress' rep confirmed the incredible news to People this afternoon, telling the magazine:
"Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage."
Aniston and Theroux have been dating for more than a year, going public with their relationship in May of 2011.
The couple has been the subject of endless speculation, with one rag saying the former Friends star recently rejected the writer/director's proposal. Amazing, we know. A tabloid got a Jennifer Aniston story wrong.
Ironically, there had been chatter that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie would get married this weekend. But, for once, Aniston stole her ex's spotlight.
